Dr. Jenne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 1996. She graduated Cum Laude with Departmental Honors in Psychology. She then attended Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego where she earned both her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Psychology. She completed her doctorate in 2000.
Upon completion of her academic education, she attended her American Psychological Association (APA) approved pre-doctoral internship at Wright State University – School of Professional Psychology. She then completed a postdoctoral residency at a private practice in Florida.
Dr. Jenne has been in private practice for over twenty years at this time. She also worked concurrently for two years at a residential treatment facility where she oversaw all psychological evaluation services for the residents and supervised psychology practicum students.
Dr. Jenne published a chapter in a book titled 'Handbook of Private Practice' and the chapter she wrote is titled 'Treating Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders' and it was released in the Spring of 2017. She has also published an entry in a book titled 'Childhood Disorders' and she has co-authored an article in a well respected journal. She has also conducted presentations on a variety of issues including anxiety disorders and treatment utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT).
She also was a teaching assistant in both graduate school and her pre-doctoral internship.
In March 2006 Dr. Jenne became Board Certified in Clinical Psychology, which indicates a level of expertise far beyond that of licensure alone. As she became Board Certified, she also became a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. She is a also a member of the American Board of Professional Psychology, American Psychological Association, Georgia Psychological Association, National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, the International OCD Foundation, and The TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors.
Further, Dr. Jenne is a graduate of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute through the International OCD Foundation. She is also a graduate of the previous Trichitillomania Learning Center's Virtual Professional Training Institute (now named The TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors).
Dr. Jenne also has served on committees to examine candidates for Board Certification in Clinical Psychology.
